Shipping Policy

Only ship to the countries members of the European Community that appear in the drop-down menu of the registration page.

Shipping Costs
The delivery charges, will depend on the country of delivery. It is fundamental this information is provided correctly to perform the corresponding calculation.
 
This value will be reflected in your order before you can confirm it. If you detect any mistakes in the information related to the address of delivery, you must correct the same before continuing. Depending on the destination, there may be eligible offers related to the amoint charged for delivery or method of payment.

Cash On Delivery (C.O.D): Eligible only for orders shipped to Spain and Peninsular Portugal or Balearic Islands, always to physical, not postal adresses.These orders will be subject to checks in which we will verufy the information supplied by you and will evaluate the risk. This additional service has a fixed cost of 1.18  € independently of the total amount of your order.

Payement Against - Reimbursement: Eligible only in sending to Spain and Peninsular Portugal or Balearic Islands, always to physical, not postal addresses.T hese orders will be subject to checking veracity of information and evaluation of risk. This additional service has a fixed cost of 1.18  € independently of the total amount to paying.

Cancellations & Returns (Guarantees)

Cancellation of orders not dispatched

To cancel an order that has not been dispatched yet you must inform us in a maximum of 2 hours after your order has been processed, you must send us an e-mail to web@opirata.com and include the phrase cancel order, and your order number.

As an alternative, after you cancel the order we can leave the outstanding balance in your Opirata account so that it will be available to you for future orders.

If you order has been pre-paid, i.e. by Credit Card or PayPal, the complete refund of the amount will be sent.

Note: It is not possible to cancel an order that has already been dispatched. If any of our customers decides to reject the delivery, they will have to cover the cost of the transport.

Return of dispatched orders and products.

In general terms, there are three possible causes to return an order:

1. Your right to change your mind within 7 days of receiving the goods.

Following the EU Directive related to on-line trading, you have the right to cancel a contract in the following 7 days after receiving the item(s). You don’t need to give a reason for the return, and there will be no penalty. It will not be possible to cancel an order of products such as memory cards, optical media, inks, etc, if they are not returned unused and their packaging unopened. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.

To cancel a contract and return of the goods received you must do so in writing and to the following e-mail address: web@opirata.com

You should take into account that you will be charged for the cost of the return of the products, and that all items must be safely packed and sent to us.

Once the goods have arrived to our premises, and only if all items are in the same condition as they were sent to you, we will refund the amount of your order. This will always be done in the same way as the payment (i.e. Credit Card, PayPal), and always within 30 days of receiving the goods.

2. Items returned because they are damaged, or incorrect:

If at the time of the delivery you notice that the parcel is damaged in any way, and that such damage has occurred during transit of the goods, then you should contact the delivery company within 24 hours of the delivery and ask for an incident number. After this, you should send an e-mail to us at the following address: web@opirata.com, including the incident number, your order number, and a list of the damaged items (if possible, please include photograph).

In the same way, if you find that the items received are incorrect, you must inform us at web@opirata.com in the 48 hours following the reception of the goods. In this way, we can refund or replace the affected products. If you do not inform us before the 48 hours are over, Media Replacement Services LTD. will not take responsibility for the cost of replacing or refunding any of the goods.

The resolution of the case can be delayed between 3 and 5 working days.

3. Items returned because they are defective:

All products sold by Media Replacement Services LTD. have a legal guarantee valid for 2 years from the invoicing date, this includes any repair or replacement of the products, according to the European Law. (This applies to all of our products except for digital items where the item has been downloaded. We regret that we also cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of video, DVD, audio, video games, and software products where the item has been unsealed, and that this type of products have a different guarantee)

All returns of an item (because it is defective or needs to be repaired or replaced) must be communicated to us ONLY by E-mail (web@opirata.com) and always including your order number and the reason for the return) so that we can give you a return number and the instructions you must follow. Please note that Media Replacement Services LTD. cannot accept returns if you do not notify us first or if you try to deliver them to us in any other way.

Important: The times of reception for these guarantees are as follows:

-24 hours from delivery for items damaged during transport.

- 48 hours from delivery for incorrect items.

-7 days cooling – off period

Some of the manufacturers of the products we offer in our catalogue will manage the commercial guarantee of their products directly and through their own services.
In these cases we will be responsible of the guarantee ONLY during the 30 days after you have received your order.
