In order to use our SIM, the phone must be activated. This is very easy to do. Our recommended method is to use the original SIM card that was supplied with the iPhone 3G.
Message on iTunes “SIM Card inserted not supported”
Simply switch on Air Plane mode on you iPhone before plugging into iTunes. Go to Settings>Airplane Mode. This simply switches of the SIM card whilst you sync your music.(This only effects some users.)
X-SIM cards are ready to be in use inserted between a 100% functional Mobile Phone, locked to a single service provider, and a SIM card, this will allow it to operate, providing that the SIM card is inserted correctly, on a temporary basis with a SIM card from another provider, the SIM card from of this another supplier must possess valid network connection keys and connection has to be selected and established manually by choosing the corresponding provider.
The list of terminals reflected is the one offered by the developer of the product, based on its own findings and on reports from its users, if you find your SIM card slot enters the terminal slot too tightly, take this into account, it will require further modification of its thickness. In case that you detect that the SIM slot is in bad shape and makes it impossible to insert the whole X-SIM and SIM easily, take the necessary precautions to make the extraction possible, never force the insertion since it might cause damage to your terminal, SIM card and X-SIM.
The nature of connectivity is temporary due to Network Key renovations carried periodically by its provider, those keys are stored on the SIM cards and need to be valid to make connection possible, to renew the keys of Network keys its indispensable to use a terminal of similar characteristics blocked to the SIM card provider or a free terminal, we do not offer support regarding any additional configuration in the blocked terminal to be able to access any service, the product warranty is limited against possible manufacturing & material defects, we only offer support for features mentioned in the details of this product for this specific installed product firmware version and the way its programmed at the time of the sale.
Independently of the access to the Network, you will be able to access, once inserted the correct PIN, to the information stored on the SIM card and copy them to your new service provider blocked terminal (according on specific support).
About Installation:
Depending on the design used on your mobile phone SIM card slot, your SIM must be cut to clear the integrated chip and the total profile of the SIM + X-SIM get slim enough, you could buy a special tool for this or do it with extreme care and using a very sharp cutting tool on a flat surface, warping at all the SIM must always be avoided, if the SIM get deformed the entry on the SIM card slot would be to forced and could cause damage to the X-SIM card and mobile phone, this kind of damage is considered misuse and would void the X-SIM card warranty.
Special care must be taken with any mobile phone in which the SIM card enters very tight; you can use as an example the recommended installation procedure on an iPhone tray:

It’s recommended to discharge any static electricity accumulated on your body before touching the X-SIM card or your mobile phone internals, you can do this by touching any unpainted grounded metal surface before starting any manipulation and at regular times.
